Kerby Centre is the place to be if you’re over 55! The Centre was established in 1973 to enhance the quality of life for older persons. Located at the western edge of Calgary’s downtown, the Centre provides an array of active living programs and preventive services.
Kerby Centre was founded as an organization that would be run by seniors, for seniors. The Board of Directors is comprised entirely of seniors and is responsible for the operation of Kerby Centre. Assisting the Board are fifty professional staff and over 400 volunteers.
Membership in Kerby Centre is not required to access services. But membership does have its benefits:
- Kerby News mailed to your home
- Parking privileges
- Early course registration
- Reduced fees for services such as the Foot Clinic
- Reduced fees for the Fit Room.
- The opportunity to stand for the Board of Directors.
Membership runs on a calendar year and is open to anyone 55-plus for $22/year. Each year approximately 3500 seniors enjoy the benefits of membership. Click here for more information on purchasing a membership.
